About UUendy Lau
UUENDY LAU is an original, novel fashion brand founded by Wendy. “UU” (double U) is a unique recognition for her. It is a symbol of Double Happiness ‘ üü ’, but also the connecting link between individuals including couples and buddies ü-ü .
Wendy is a graduate with an Industrial & Product Design (School of Design) degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. One year after her graduation, Wendy started “UUendy Lau”, specializing primarily in fashion accessories and lifestyle products. Her products are now available at shops in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Milan (France). Wendy also has a passion for expressing her ideas and thoughts through her drawing and illustration.
Wendy is actively engaged in design events and exhibitions (e.g. she was an invited speaker at Hong Kong TEDx in 2012, an invited designer in promotional events for well-known product brands including Absolut Vodka, Vans and Lane Crawford, Lomography, Cattier Champagne, and others ). In 2013, she won a place to be one of the local designers representing Hong Kong to participate in Hong Kong x Brussels Design Exchange Program.

Design is a language to express myself. It is also a force that brings together people with similar interests and passion.

A major part of my job is to help design students to develop, concretise and
commercialise their ideas, converting their great concept to actual products. A
number of main tasks include product production, packaging, branding,
promotion, exhibition and wholesale & retail sales.
DESIGN BRAND ACHIEVEMENTS
“UUendy Lau” is a fashion brand established in 2011 after my graduation.
The brand specializes in fashion accessories and stylish items. The products are inspired by and created partly with the unused leather pieces collected from factories, which corresponds with my concept that brings a message of “second life” and “hope”.
