About Tania Willis

Tania Willis is an award-winning British illustrator & a graduate of The Royal College of Art Illustration MA Course. She has been based in Hong Kong for a number of years. Her illustrations can be seen in the most unlikely places, from the pages of magazines to the walls of Pacific Place & fuselage of an Airbus 380 ( she designed a special livery for the Dragonair's 20th Anniversary ).

Her illustrated maps feature in travel magazines around the world & she is a regular contributor to The Telegraph's Ultratravel & Condé Nast Traveller. She also illustrates for children; in 2009 she created 15 large-scale artworks for the The Ronald McDonald Charity Home in Hong Kong ( which were later published as a book entitled 'A Treasury of Tales') These won 3 awards at The First Greater China Illustration Awards.Tania is also the series illustrator for 'KidsGo!' , a travel guides series for tweens, which won awards from The Greater China Illustration Awards & the US Parent's Choice Foundation.

Her recent projects include the advertising campaign for the Hong Kong Youth Arts Festival, a modular artwork for Swire Properties ( featuring 100+ & characters and stretching up to 15 metres) and a design for Elephant Parade Hong Kong. Hong Kong has always been her muse & inspiration & Asian images images feature regularly in her work. Her work has been commissioned by The Guardian, Faber, Time Magazine, Elle, Waitrose Food, Discovery Magazine, Mandarin Oriental,

She is also an educator having taught Illustration at The Glasgow School of Art, Hong Kong Poly U and is presently Adjunct Professor Illustration at SCAD HK
